Age is just a number and I'm winning. God give me agency to keep from quitting. Escape was just the key you kept on pressing. And darling, why'd you always try impressing me?
Now I understand why men in foreign lands pretend that there's a second chance -- whether man, or plant, or ant I'll use that second time around to win you back.
You warned me not to fumble -- and I heeded -- but you could use the leverage that I'm leaning on, and space was just the key you said you needed, and far be it for me to keep conceding it.
